2019 Office of Homeless Youth Grantee Forum call for session proposals

The Office of Homeless Youth (OHY) announces the annual OHY Grantee Forum will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 8 in Tacoma at the Marriott Downtown Hotel. The OHY Grantee Forum is an annual, one-day event that invites all OHY grantees to gather, collaborate and create compassionate networks in an effort to address youth homelessness across Washington.

The conference planning committee is seeking knowledgeable, enthusiastic and innovative speakers with a firm understanding of race equity and the needs of marginalized communities. The mission of the forum is to gain and share knowledge with associates and other professionals working to best serve young people experiencing homelessness.

Dates: Oct. 8, 2019

Location: Marriott in Downtown Tacoma

Session Times: 90-minute session from 1 – 2:30 p.m. or 2:30 – 4 p.m.

Applications are being accepted until 5 p.m July 8. Successful applicants will be notified by July 31. Please send proposals and information to youthhomeless@commerce.wa.gov by Monday, July 8 by 5 p.m.
