State Strategic Plan, Annual Reports and Audits
The Department of Commerce is responsible for a State Strategic Plan and Annual Report to the legislature on Washington state’s efforts to address homelessness. The plan is a five-year roadmap identifying state and county activities and goals, while the report highlights accomplishments and course adjustments. Plan and report requirements are in RCW 43.185c.

State Strategic Plan
2024-2029 Update
Pursuant to RCW 43.185C, Commerce will publish the 2024-2029 State Homeless Housing Strategic Plan by September, 2024. We will share developments related to the next 5-year state plan, and the subsequent guidance for local jurisdictions developing homeless housing strategic plans pursuant to RCW 43.185C.050.
