Clean Transportation

The Clean Transportation unit expands access to cleaner, more affordable transportation accessible to all Washington residents by administering vehicle incentive programs, funding charging and fueling infrastructure, investing in zero-emission technologies, and providing resources to help residents, businesses and communities navigate the transition. These efforts focus on ensuring the benefits of clean transportation reach every community across the state.

Washington Electric Vehicle Charging Program (WAEVCP)

• Who can apply: Businesses, local governments, tribes, public agencies.
• Status: Not accepting applications. Projects from previous funding rounds in progress.

Tribal Electric Boats Program (TEBP)

• Who can apply: Tribal nations
• Status: Not accepting applications. Projects from previous funding round in progress.

Washington Electric Vehicle Instant Rebates

• Who can apply: Income-qualified consumers
• Status: Funding exhausted. Additional application round to be announced.

Interagency Electric Vehicle Coordinating Council (EV Council)

• Who can apply: Not applicable
• Status: Coordination work ongoing. Public meetings every other month.
