The 2019 Encouraging Investments in Affordable and Supportive Housing Act (RCW 82.14.540) authorized a new state-shared local tax to be used for investments in affordable and supportive housing, as well as a reporting requirement for jurisdictions to provide the Department of Commerce with information on the collection and use of funds locally.
The Department of Commerce collects and compiles these reports to provide an annual update to the Legislature.
Jurisdictions can submit a report for affordable and supportive housing sales & use tax FY 2025 through our online reporting form.
