2023 Application Workshop Trainings

Workshops

Guidance on how to complete a 2023 application and the criteria used to evaluate applications for multifamily/rental housing projects seeking capital funding. Register below. Agenda and supporting materials will be available on the Department of Commerce Box as the events approach.

In-Person Workshops

In-person workshops run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with included lunch. Venue capacity is 100 persons each, on a first-come, first-served basis by registration time.

Spokane – July 11, 2023 

The in-person workshop at Spokane Community College has completed.

Tumwater – Aug. 8, 2023

The in-person workshop at ASHHO Cultural Community Center has completed.

Virtual Workshops

Virtual workshops will run on Zoom from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There is no limit to attendance, but registration is required at the links provided below.

Project Presentations

Commerce will host informal meet and greets with organizations interested in sharing information about their potential projects. These are not required and do not contribute to an applicant’s score.  Sign up here for a one-hour session, through which prospective applicants will be able to schedule time to introduce themselves and/or their particular project(s) to MHU. Slots will be in hour increments or longer for multiple projects. This opportunity will be provided from June 26 through Sept. 5, Mondays through Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Registration is required 48 hours prior to your requested meeting time.
