The Office of Crime Victims Advocacy (OCVA) is housed within the Department of Commerce. OCVA serves as a voice within government for the needs of crime victims in Washington State.
CORE grants are funds available to support Core Sexual Assault Services. PREA grants provide funding for selected accredited Community Sexual Assault Programs (CSAPs) to continue provision of sexual assault advocacy services to individuals in Washington State Department of Corrections prison facilities and re-entry sites.
Who is eligible?
CORE and PREA eligible applicants are accredited Community Sexual Assault Programs (CSAPs) or selected CSAPs serving prison(s) and re-entry site(s). Eligible CSAPs will have been contacted
by OCVA prior to the release of this application. If you have not received communication from OCVA, you are ineligible to receive PREA funding
