The Washington State Department of Commerce has filed a CR‑101 to begin updating the state’s Lead‑Based Paint (LBP) rules. Throughout the process, Commerce is committed to engaging contractors, training providers, property managers, community organizations and members of the public.
We invite you to learn about the rulemaking effort, ask questions and share your feedback.
Attend a LBP rulemaking workshop
These workshops are an early opportunity to shape updates to the Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) and Lead‑Based Paint Activities (LBPA) programs. Members of the public are invited to attend and participate.
