Spring is here and it is time for the Washington Coalition of Sexual Assault Programs’ Annual Conference! WCSAP always hosts an excellent array of workshops and guest speakers and this year is no exception. WCSAP staff have been hard at work bringing in folks from around the country to talk about prevention, advocacy, management, child sexual abuse, therapy and people of color leadership.
The featured plenary speaker is Mira Yusef from Monsoon United Asian Women of Iowa. This is a unique opportunity to listen to a national and international leader in the movement to end sexual violence.
There is also what may be a once in a lifetime opportunity: to hear from Kenyette Tisha Barnes, #MuteRKelly Co-Founder, and Michelle Kramer and Dominique Kramer of the docuseries Surviving R. Kelly.
Register now! The Annual Conference starts Tuesday, April 30 in Wenatchee. WCSAP provides scholarships for Washington State Office of Crime Victims Advocacy grantees – Marginalized and Native American Communities Sexual Assault Services and Core Sexual Assault Services (accredited Community Sexual Assault Programs). See you there!
