The Washington State Department of Commerce is leading a delegation of eight Washington companies in the “Internet of Things” (IoT) sector to Hannover Messe in Hannover Germany this week. This is Washington’s eighth year participating in the show – the largest industrial technology show in the world, with more than 220,000 visitors, 6000 exhibitors, and 100 countries represented. Major global companies exhibit their latest technology here, so in addition to being a worldwide stage, the show is also a vision of the future of industrial technology.
Washington’s companies will help continue to make the case that Washington is mastering the digital world, leading the way particularly in business-to-business and enterprise software applications that will help industries run more smoothly and efficiently. Washington state companies continue to grab attention. Denso, Bosch, Ericsson, ABB, and Airbus have all set up appointments, or seen product demonstrations in the stand, and this is just in the first two days! More soon from the Messe.
