There are updates available for the Housing Preservation Program notice of funding availability (NOFA) (#MHU-2026-04). Review the updates carefully to ensure your application is complete:
2026 Housing Preservation Program NOFA (#MHU-2026-04): Added new priority to Appendix A – Reductions on Operating and Utility Costs
2026 Applications Requirement Checklist – HPP: Added supplemental documentation requirement for Operating and/or Utility Costs
2026 HPP Application Forms: Added Operating and Utility Costs tab; Added Relocation as a Soft Cost line item to the Preservation Project Budget tab
No changes were made to our Continuing Affordability NOFA, which was also released recently.
Applications are due to the Department of Commerce by 12 p.m. Pacific Time on Friday, April 17.
