Published by the Urban Indian Health Institute, the report identifies Seattle as having the highest number of MMIWG of the 71 cities surveyed, and Washington state as having the second highest number of MMIWG cases across the country. “The MMIWG epidemic deeply impacts urban American Indian and Alaska Native communities, and the dialogue must shift to include them.”
