Housing Trust Fund contractors: Share your experiences at a listening session

Commerce will host two listening sessions to improve program guidelines

The Washington State Department Commerce is seeking feedback to inform the Continuing Affordability (CA) and Housing Preservation (HPP) programs with the intent of reviewing program guidelines to ensure they benefit affordable multifamily housing residents. This effort will help preserve existing affordable housing that serves thousands of people in Washington.

Session dates

There will be two sessions on Zoom for HTF contractors who have accessed or plan to access CA or HPP funds.

Sessions will be recorded and the high-level results shared on our website, along with a transcript.

Commerce can provide live translation services upon request. Please email us by 12 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 2, to request translation services.

Your input matters!

Your input at these sessions will mean a stronger, more authentic campaign for Washington residents. We’re interested in your experiences and feedback, such as:

  • Challenges accessing CA or HPP funds
  • Barriers to using awarded funds
  • Challenges in previous funding rounds
  • Thoughts on how to make CA and HPP funds more accessible
  • New opportunities for the use of CA or HPP funds
  • Thoughts on per-project funding caps
