The Washington Department of Commerce is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to find qualified organizations to provide training and technical assistance for Washington’s Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP). The selected provider will help ensure the program meets the requirements set by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The work must also meet or exceed the minimum standards in the DOE Quality Work Plan (QWP).
Funding details
Commerce has budgeted an amount not to exceed $407,678 for this project. If more funding becomes available during the contract period, we may update the contract to include additional related services. However, additional funding is not guaranteed.
Minimum qualifications
- Licensed to do business in Washington or submit a statement of commitment that it will become licensed in Washington within thirty (30) calendar days of being selected as the Apparent Successful Contractor.
- Five years of experience in delivering training in the WAP network.
- Accredited by The Interstate Renewable Council (IREC)
- Has a physical training center accessible in Washington state with on-demand access for training, testing, and field training in person, provide address.
Proposals that do not clearly meet all the minimum qualifications listed above will not be considered or reviewed.
