Tribal funding opportunity: Housing Trust Fund’s homeownership funding cycle open now

Applications are open now for tribal affordable homeownership projects seeking funding in the 2026 Housing Trust Fund homeownership cycle. 

This funding supports community-based tribal organizations, tribal housing authorities and federally recognized tribes create first-time homeownership opportunities through the construction of new housing units, purchase and rehabilitation of existing housing, affordability subsidies and down payment assistance for low-income tribal households in Washington.
