Tier 2 Compliance Assistance Project now accepting proposals

The Clean Buildings Team is accepting proposals for the Tier 2 Compliance Assistance Project. The project is designed to raise awareness about Washington’s Clean Buildings Performance Standard and provide technical assistance to owners of Tier 2 buildings.

Commerce is seeking qualified organizations to raise awareness, conduct outreach, and provide technical assistance related to the Clean Buildings Performance Standard. A total of $600,000 is available for the selected contractor to develop an outreach plan, conduct outreach, host resource fairs, and provide technical assistance to Tier 2 building owners.

How to apply

Interested organizations should:

1. Review the RFP materials in the Box folder or on the Washington’s Electronic Business Solution (WEBS) platform.
2. Attend the pre-proposal conference.
3. Submit an application to CBPSGrants@commerce.wa.gov by 5 p.m. PT Nov. 2, 2026.
