Contract period: July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2027
The Washington State Public Works Board (PWB) is initiating a Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit proposals from consultants interested in and qualified to assist and represent the Board in legislative matters. Visit the PWB webpage for more information.
Estimated time period for contract is from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026 with a possible extension to June 30, 2027. Funding will not exceed $60,000 per year.
Eligibility criteria
To meet minimum qualifications, an applicant must:
- Be licensed to do business in Washington or submit a statement of commitment that they will become licensed in Washington within thirty (30) calendar days of being selected as the Apparent Successful Contractor.
- Have a current Statewide Vendor Number issued by the Washington State Department of Enterprise Services.
- Have 10+ years of experience in/with State government relations involving Infrastructure financing. At a minimum, 5+ years of experience in the state of Washington, and the remainder years can be from another state.
- Have experience with proven success in legislative and regulatory advocacy.
- Have prior experience with clients with similar issues.
