What funding is available?
A minimum of $5.1 million is available through this program funding cycle from the Coronavirus Capital Project Fund (CPF) through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). Distressed communities or areas identified as Indian country may receive up to $5 million, while the maximum amount of funding that the PWB may provide other applicants is $2 million.
Who is eligible?
- Tribes
- Local governments including special purpose districts, co-operatives, non-profits and private organizations
- Priority will be given to tribal applicants with secondary priority for local governments
Upon completion, eligible projects are expected to be designed to deliver service that reliably meets or exceeds upload and download speeds of 100 Mbps. Exceptions may be reviewed based on geography, topography or excessive costs. Importantly, awarded applicants must be substantially complete and operational and expend all funds for the financial obligations incurred by Dec. 31, 2026.
