Other Commerce updates and reminders
- CRP is currently recruiting for Local Advisory Teams. From 2026-2027, LATs will help oversee $7 million in violence prevention investments. Applications are open through January 20, 2026.
- Commerce is seeking applicants to fill an open seat on the affordable housing Community Advisory Team (CAT), a subcommittee of the Affordable Housing Advisory Board. We strongly encourage applications from communities most impacted by housing inequities, including communities of color; people with disabilities; LGBTQIA+ community members; survivors of violence; immigrants and refugees; and formerly incarcerated individuals.
Coming soon to CRP
Lastly, we’re excited to announce that there will be two new grants opening later in January to support housing and CRP’s Local Advisory Teams. Please stay tuned for an official announcement.
In solidarity,
The CRP Team
