The Washington State Department of Commerce has determined that the development of B & B Apartments, an affordable housing project in Olympia, will have no significant environmental impact and will submit this finding to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) on Dec. 23, along with our intent to request the release of funds.
This action requires completion of an environmental assessment, either a documented finding of no significant impact or finding of significant impact, and notice of our intent to request the release of funds, as required by the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (NEPA).
To submit public comment on this decision, email Fia Phillips by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on Jan. 10.
After the public comment period closes, Commerce will submit an Intent to Request Release of Funds to HUD. Review the HUD required legal notice in full (on Box).
