Local health jurisdictions and city and county local governments lost revenues resulting from the passage of Initiative 695, from previously received funding from Motor Vehicle Excise Taxes. The Washington State Legislature appropriated funding to assist these agencies in providing essential services.

During the 2005-07 Biennium, Commerce will distribute $48,000,000 to the following counties and health districts in the amounts designated as directed by the State Legislature.
