Planning-Only Grants are made available annually through a competitive application process to assist  Washington State small cities, towns and counties in carrying out planning efforts which lead to projects that principally benefit low- and moderate-income (LMI) persons. The Washington State CDBG Planning-Only Grants are funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).    Planning-Only Grant Factsheet   The 2009 Planning-Only Grant cycle has been closed.   2010 applications will be available February 2010 and will be accepted March through December 2010 until all funds are awarded.  Applications are rated by a review committee and funded until available funds have been obligated.
