2009 Housing Enhancement Grant 

CDBG works with the Housing Finance Unit (HFU) to offer flexible Housing Enhancement grants to eligible cities and counties.  Housing Enhancement grants give you the opportunity to partner with non-profit, low-income housing developers to assist in the development or preservation of housing projects. 

The Housing Enhancement program helps provide a flexible source of funds to streamline project financing and improve the feasibility and affordability of well-developed projects.  Only projects receiving Housing Trust Fund dollars may apply for Housing Enhancement grants.  For more information about the Housing Enhancement grant program, see our factsheet.
