2011-2013 Competitive Grant Process

Is your organization eligible?

Strength Place, Seattle

The next application opening for our competitive programs will be Spring 2012.

The competitive grant programs are only open to nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations registered in Washington State. A nonprofit may apply in partnership with a governmental jurisdiction or tribe if the nonprofit is the lead applicant. Other eligibility criteria include:

  • The applicant must have control of the project site either through ownership or a long-term lease (a minimum of 15 years).
  • Substantial progress has been made on an active capital fundraising campaign dedicated to the project.

Each one of the competitive grant programs has its own unique criteria for eligibility and ranking. See the links below for additional information on each program.

Grantees must pay state prevailing wages

Grantees awarded competitive grant funds in the 2011-2013 Biennium must pay state prevailing wages for all construction labor. The Department of Labor and Industries (L&I) is the lead state agency in implementing prevailing wage law. For more information, contact L&I Industrial Statistician Ann Selover by email or call 360-902-5330.
