Technical Development Committee

The Technical Development Committee (TDC) is a subgroup of the Weatherization and Repair Work Group. The TDC is comprised of representatives from all areas of Washington, small and large agencies, and crew and contractor based agencies.

Purpose
The Technical Development Committee (TDC) serves as an advisory body to the Weatherization and Repair Work Group, which functions similarly in its advisory capacity to the Department of Community, Trade, and Economic Development (CTED). The TDC provides leadership on issues of a technical nature.

To achieve the Technical Development Committee’s purpose, members will:

· Share innovative ideas and keep abreast of new technologies and techniques in weatherization and rehabilitation programs.

· Advise the Weatherization and Repair Work Group and CTED on policies, procedures, technical specification development, sound building practices, and technical advancements and innovative procedures in the conservation industry – specifically, to provide the field perspective on relevant issues.

· Serve as the Steering Committee for the Peer Circuit Rider

Refer to TDC Handbook for further information.
