Inspector: inspections and clearance testing only.
Risk Assessor: inspections, clearance testing, lead hazards screens and risk assessments.
Supervisor: supervision of abatement projects, preparation of occupant protection plans, abatement reports, and all abatement activities that may be performed by abatement workers.
Worker: abatement activities under the direction of certified abatement supervisor.
Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Firms performing renovation, repair, and painting projects that disturb lead-based paint in pre-1978 homes, child care facilities and schools, must be certified by the Department of Commerce and use certified renovators who are trained by an approved training provider to follow lead-safe work practices.
