Summary of 2012 CDBG General Purpose Grant Applications Received
Below is a summary of the 2012 CDBG General Purpose Grant applications which were received in March. Funding requests came to more than $30 million. The amount available is approximately $11 million. Currently CDBG staff are reviewing and rating the applications and will announce awards in mid-June. The first report below lists the applications received by jurisdiction name, the second report is grouped by project type.
The 2012 Planning-Only Grant Applications may be submitted May 1, 2012 through April 30, 2013, or until all funds are awarded. Several forms and sections of the grant application have been updated, so do not use older forms. Word.doc files of individual forms will be available on the Planning-Only Grant web page in late March or early April, so check back then if you want to have a single form without the rest of the application. Some of the forms in the Planning-Only Grant application are identical to forms in the General Purpose Grant application, but some are specific to planning activities, so please use caution if you use the GP forms for a POG application. 2012 CDBG Income Limits are Available
The income limits for all eligible counties in the state of Washington are available. They are effective December 1, 2011 for existing and new CDBG projects.
