Office of Crime Victims Advocacy serves the people in Washington State. If you are living in another state and are seeking information and resources we recommend that you contact the appropriate state agency and/or crime victim service coalitions (such as Sexual Assault or Domestic Violence Coalition of your state).

Native American & Marginalized Communities Sexual Assault Grantees:
 
 
OCVA conducted this teleconference to inform current Native American and marginalized communities sexual assault grantees of the change to the prevention funding structure in Washington State and the new funding opportunity for conducting community development to prevent sexual assault.
 
 
 
As of March 2012, Community Development is no longer a required Core Services for Community Sexual Assault Programs. This teleconference was conducted for CSAPs by OCVA to outline how the decision was made to make Community Development an optional Core Service and describes the new funding structure for Community Development.

    The Office of Crime Victims Advocacy (OCVA) serves as a voice within government for the needs of crime victims in Washington State. Established in 1990, OCVA serves the state by: Advocating on behalf of victims obtaining needed services and resources; Administering grant funds for community programs working with crime victims; Assisting communities in planning and implementing services for crime victims; and Advising local and state government agencies of practices, policies, and priorities which impact crime victims.
