Chelan County – $50,000 grant to the City of Wenatchee for the North Wenatchee Redevelopment Master Plan.  A master development plan for the Wenatchee Waterfront and North Wenatchee Avenue.  CERB funds are matched by $50,000 in local resources.

Mason County – $50,000 grant to the Mason County PUD 3 for the Mason County Business Development Center Study.  A planning study to investigate the feasibility of a business resource center and incubator/accelerator project in downtown Shelton.  CERB funds are matched by $16,667 in local resources.

“CERB’s mission is to help local governments and tribes finance their vision for the future.  These projects will benefit rural communities in Washington at a time when it is needed most,” said CERB Chair Steve Anderson.

Since 1982, CERB has committed nearly $206 million to local jurisdictions across the state, an investment generating more than 34,000 jobs.  Private capital investments of $5.7 billion ($27 to $1) return on CERB investment.

As Washington’s strategic economic development resource, CERB is focused on creating private sector jobs in partnership with local governments by financing infrastructure improvements. These improvements encourage new business development and expansion.
