Clean Energy Fund energy efficiency and renewable energy program grants are now available

The Department of Commerce is now accepting Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) requests for the Energy Grants to Non-Profit Lenders program. These Clean Energy Fund grants support the widespread use of proven energy efficiency and renewable energy – including transportation electrification technologies – that have been inhibited by lack of access to capital.

More information, including the NOFO and FAQ’s, is available on our website:

The Washington State Clean Energy Fund enables a mix of projects administered by Commerce’s State Energy Office. Projects must provide a public benefit to the citizens of Washington State through development, demonstration, and deployment of clean energy technologies that save energy and reduce energy costs, reduce harmful air emissions, or otherwise increase energy independence for the state.
