How To Apply for Low-Income Home Energy Assistance
LIHEAP is provided to the citizens of Washington through a network of community action agencies and local municipalities. These are the organizations that perform program eligibility determinations and award LIHEAP grants to eligible households. Each agency has their own procedures that will need to be followed in order to receive LIHEAP services.

NOTE: The Department of Commerce is the state agency that administers the LIHEAP program in Washington. Commerce does not determine eligibility or award grants to households.
